Wouldn't it be great if you could charge your mobile phone, digital camera, PDA, or iPod while you're travelling from A to B and so avoid having an important conversation cut short, having to do without your favourite music, or not being able to take some great photos?
Get one of our solar powered rucksacks (arrived in the UK in July 08) and you'll never be left powerless again, as it has an integrated solar panel on the back designed to charge virtually all handheld electronic devices. The cable from the solar panel is inside the bag in a special 'gadget charging' section.
The solar bag (RRP £49.99) itself is made of hard wearing material and measures 37 x 17 x 48cm (30 Litre). It can fully charge a mobile phone in about 3 hours. Unlike many other models, this solar backpack includes the required rechargeable lithium batteries pre installed, meaning that even when you're not actually charging a device, the solar panels are continually charging the integrated high powered lithium battery and storing up energy for when you need it.
This means you can use it to charge you gadgets even when the backpack isn't in the summery glare of the sun's rays. The solar bag comes complete with a massive 10 standard adaptors to fit common mobile phones and other handheld devices (see compatibility list below).
The included internal lithium battery pack measures a tiny 7 x 5 x 1cm, and you can even take it out of the bag and use it as a standalone mini portable power pack, and it can also be charged via your computers USB port.
So, you can use your included mini battery backup gadget as part of your solar rucksack or just use it as a totally separate gizmo, and charge it up by your computers USB port so it's ready for when you need emergency power when out and about (see the feature list of the Power Backup near the bottom of this page).
The solar panels on the bag are waterproof, scratch resistant, and UV resistant and use high efficiency monocrystalline cells for extra power.
Not only is this a hassle free way of ensuring your favourite handheld gadgets don't run out of juice, you'll also be doing your bit for the environment too.

What a great idea! I've had my solar powered backpack a week now and I cannot praise it enough. It fully charges my phone in about 2 hours and costs me nothing at all. I just love the way it stores up energy even when I am not actually charging something so that I can even charge my phone in the evening. If everyone had one of these the amount of energy and environmental problems we would save would be amazing. Thanks.
Simon Thompson - Southampton With electricity prices as they are I have to say this is one of the best purchases I have made online in years! The fast that you can use the Power Pack without the bag is also a great bonus. The range of connectors is good too. Hope you have a lot in stock as all my friends are buying one!
Ellen Clarke, UK Fantastic value for money! The bag on it's own must be worth over 20 pounds and I also got a solar charger and alternative battery pack too. Great product!
Maxine Tarrell - Devon Eco friendly, very useful, and cheap. NICE!
